What is Search Engine Optimization?
Search
Engine optimization seeks to obtain the highest placement
in search query results by modifying web page source code
and content. All the search engines use distinct fixed criteria,
or algorithms, in their indexing process. Using our Knowledge
of those algorithms we can configure the META tags and descriptions,
titles, and page format to achieve optimal placement on multiple
search engines.

Why does your site need Search Engine/
Directory Optimization?
Search engines generate approximately 80%
of Internet traffic, but 75% of search engine users never
scroll past the first page of results. These are the users
you should be targeting. Top placement on major search engines
is not that easy. It involves much more than just meta-tagging
your website and submitting it to 1000 search engines. You
can use these methods, but you have to do a lot more than
just adding meta-tags. You have to do a lot of research on
your target keyword phrases, and figure out what's really
going to bring you targeted traffic. That's why we see search
engine optimization as just the beginning. It's an ongoing
process to make a website work.

Why choose Infatex to handle you Search
Engine/Directory Optimization?
Our process brings traffic to your whole site not just your
home page.
We don't use cloaking or any other questionable strategies
that may get you in trouble with search engines.
Infatex creates specially optimized pages that are hosted
on your site not ours, unlike most other companies.
Infatex won't hold your pages hostage if you decide to cancel.
We have the capabilities to route traffic from specific key
phrase searches to specific pages on your site.
People are more likely to make a purchase if they can click
directly to the relevant page, rather than having to navigate
through an entire website.
We provide you with monthly reports showing you where your
site is listed in each of the search engine so you can track
where your traffic if coming from.
Why do I need a Web site?
The Internet exposes your organization to
vast numbers of potential customers - local, national, and
international. The Web is one of the least expensive, yet
most targeted and flexible forms of advertising available.
Many companies discover that a website is a more economical,
and efficient way to make information available to clients,
customers, distributors and employees. Instead of spending
large amounts of money and resources producing printed media,
businesses are pointing people to their website.
Should we hire a full-time Webmaster?
If you have a huge site that needs constant
maintenance, yes, you should hire a full-time Webmaster. However,
we believe the term Webmaster is outdated because the field
is growing so fast and in so many directions that no one person
can "master" it. Unless you have a very simple site,
you will need a person with a large set of skills that must
be constantly updated. Most companies find it very difficult
to recruit and keep high-tech workers with the appropriate
skills. We can either be your webmaster, or work with your
existing IT staff to create more profitable solutions. Infatex
is your solution to all of your internet needs.
What is a domain name and how do
I get one?
A domain name is an address on the Web.
For example, our domain name is www.infatex.com
and we will help you register a unique domain name for your
site. Because domain names are vanishing at a rapid rate,
we recommend that this be your first step towards creating
a more powerful presence in the marketplace.
What is hosting? Do you offer hosting?
Infatex offers quality website hosting.
The host is the computer or server that "houses"
your Web site. It could be in your back office, at an Internet
Service Provider in your town, or it could be hosted in another
city. Physical location is not important but the reliability,
capabilities and support of the hosting company are very important.
For the vast majority of sites, bandwidth and storage are
far less important than features, support & reliability.
You want your site to be available 24 hours a day; 7 days
a week.
How will people find my site?
Internet surfers generally find your site
in three ways:
By using a search engine/directory service such as Yahoo!,
AltaVista,
Lycos,
Google, etc.
By finding you through links or banner
ads from other sites
By seeing your web address in conventional marketing/advertising
materials.
Your Web address should be included in every
piece of paper that leaves your organization. We will help
you with all three approaches. Our goal is not just to design
your site but also to make it successful. Through experience,
we know what works.
Do you use all the latest technology?
Yes, and we know how to implement it towards
your success for ease of use, speed of access, and content!
Because of varying computer and browser capabilities, not
every feature can be accessed by everyone. For that reason,
we generally implement new technology only after it has been
tried and tested. We specialize in cross-platform sites that
just about anyone can use. Our goal is for your site to be
seen and used by the largest number of people!
Can I see my website while it is
under development?
Yes, we create a special private section
on our test server just for your site. At various steps in
the process, we will show you the current version of your
site (at a special web address) and ask for your comments
and feedback. For example, most projects start with the front
page design. We will design test layouts for your review and
feedback. Once you have approved this stage of the project,
we will proceed to develop the "inside" of your
site. At all stages of the creative process there exist avenues
for close collaboration between you and our design team. We
strive to eliminate any "surprises" and your site
does not "go live" until you have approved it.
How much do you charge?
Each project is different and some sites
are more involved than others. For some examples, browse our
portfolio to see the wide range of web sites that we have
developed. We price jobs on a project basis, not an hourly
rate. After an initial free consultation, we provide you with
an estimate of the cost to develop your site. Then we work
with you to develop your site within that budget and we keep
you posted on additional costs that may be involved. Please
use our order form and an Infatex representative will contact
you.
Can you provide online shopping
for my site?
Yes, we have experience developing online
shopping/storefronts and we will guide you through the process.
What can an E-commerce website do
for me?
E-commerce/e-business is more than selling
books and toys online. E-business
encompasses all the ways that a Web site can improve communication,
distribution, customer support, and marketing. E-business
is also about reducing costs (e.g. reducing mailings of catalogs)
and improving productivity (e.g. applications and content
aimed at sales force support) as well as direct sales. For
example, do you have product catalogs, product specs, brochures,
technical manuals, and procedure manuals that are expensive
to print and distribute? Put that information on a website
and reduce costs.
What can a website do for my local
business?
Internet usage has become so pervasive that
even businesses that serve strictly local markets are finding
advantages from doing business on the Web. Our search
engine optimization solutions will drive
targeted visitors to your website. How much money would
it cost to effectively advertise all the wonders of your business
using traditional advertising? For a fraction of the cost
of all that ad space, you can develop a piece of internet
real estate, and reach a wider range of consumers.
